Sara Simboli
original miniatures
Sara lives in the Asheville area and attended both the Art Students League, NYC and the Maryland Institute of Art, Baltimore. She was taught for seven years by Frank Mason who instructed her in the craft and vision of classical painting of landscape and figures. Fine art is a deep passion of hers and she is always exploring her craft both inside and outside the studio. Plein-air painting is one of her favorite
ways to spend her time, with her easel and paints set up on location in a field or forest, or her backpack filled with pens, brushes, paper, and watercolors.
"Art has meaning to me when it helps the viewer to dream and expand his imagination. And, I hope my work serves as a reminder of what a wonderfully complex and beautiful place that we all live in."
